Tuen Mun – Chek Lap Kok Link (TMCLKL)’s 5km long sub-sea road tunnel is a core component connecting Northwest New Territories (NWNT) with the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). The project involves two major reclamation areas, Northern Landfall in Tuen Mun and Southern Landfall adjacent to HKIA.
PERI works closely with DBJV to construct various structures on the two landfalls. On the North, TRIO panel system is utilized for the ventilation shaft and ventilation building. On the South, various systems are in place to achieve constrcution efficiency and safety. Bespoke scaffold traveller, wall and slab formwork travellers are supplied to construct the 250m long cut and cover tunnel.
This mega project is scheduled for completion in 2020.
