Location: Zhuhai, China

The new Hengqin Port & Integrated Transportation Hub in Zhuhai, China is expected to increase border crossings from the current daily 70,000 to 222,000 crossings once the new port begins operation.

With a footprint of 345,100 square meters and total floor space of 1.21 million square meters, the facility will encompass a port and integrated transportation hub along with comprehensive development and support zones.

PERI supplied 4,000 tons of material, mostly aluminum beams and VT girders for a 5-floor facility with 30,000 square meters each.

The completion date is predicted for 2022.
